Supervision of exposure to hazardous substances

In the Netherlands, more than 100.000 companies work with hazardous substances. Working with hazardous substances entails risks for the health and safety of employees. These risks are often underestimated, because they are often not immediately observable and the damage to health often only becomes apparent after years. Employers are responsible for working healthily and safely with hazardous substances. The Netherlands Labour Authority supervises.
